Halong Clean Up Tour 2012

Each summer Handspan Travel Indochina organizes a trip to Halong to remove litter and build awareness of the bay's environmental needs. Come with us, on our 6th Halong Clean Up Tour, for some awesome kayaking through Lan Ha Bay, Halong's unknown twin sister, and clean it up at the same time. This is a unique opportunity to discover a much quieter part of Halong while promoting more responsible travel choices and raising awareness among locals about the need for environmental protection. The photos below were taken on our last Clean Up tour on 4-5 June 2011 in the Lan Ha bay around Beo floating village and Nam Cat beach. Over 300 kilos of litters in the weekend were collected by 24 people. People on the pictures are some local residents, people working and living in Hanoi.
